This website is dedicated primarily to the translating of some of Rav Kluger's works into English, elucidating where necessary to make them easily understood. In addition, we are translating books from other Rabbis, in order to give a wider choice of style and content.
Rabbi Shlomo Kluger (1786-1869) was born in Komarow, Russian Poland. From the earliest age he learned Torah with extreme diligence, and rose to become one of the leading halachic authorities of his time. He was the Rabbi and Dayan in several communities, but for more than 50 years he was the Rabbi of Brody. He was a prolific writer, writing more than 160 books, not all of which were printed.
